Alright, so I took off my rear wheel yesterday to change tyre - it's a 12mm bolt through Azonic hub. I noticed that the bearing was feeling pretty gritty so I undid the locknut on the non-drive side and slid the internals out to the drive side (i.e. the cassette and everything shifted away from the hub such that I could see the pawls). Once I saw that it was a sealed cartridge bearing I slid everything back to it's orginal spot and retightened the lock nut by hand.
My problem is that now when I coast with my feet off the pedals, the pedals keep turning forwards! Uh oh... Obviously I've done something wrong - is it simply that I have overtightened the bearings, or did some crap get in the cassette and make it no longer coast properly? Anyone have any ideas? (oh, and I ride it like this, will I shag it? Obviously the bearings need replacing anyway, so that doesn't worry me if I accelerate their wear a bit, but I don't want to stuff the cassette mechanisms.)
