Ever thought about giving her your bike and getting something new for yourself?

They should make derailleur hangers in the shape of a bottle opener, everyone would carry a spare.

I was in Melbourne last week, and didn't spot any good ones, which isn't to say they aren't around, I just didn't happen upon them.

There's a decent one in Mansfield near Mt Bulla, but that might be a bit out of your way.

Big thanks to all that replied on this one. Found a shop in East Brunswick(25 min on the tram out of CBD). My Mountain, Mark and the boys there really know their shit :)  As we were pressed for time, we called ahead and they offered to open the shop a bit early. After a quick chat, Anne was put on a few bikes to see how they felt, then she was measured up for a professional fit. As women specific bikes are quite short in supply, Mark did a little fishing based on geometry and came up with a Gary Fisher, HiFi GS 14.5". Although it's not as well spec'd as some, we just couldn't pass this one up. All things going well, we should see it delivered, tuned to her weight and ready to ride by the end of the week 8)
