shit magnet....97% of teens would cry if they saw Robert Pattison (Edward Cullen from Twilight) standing on top of a sky scraper, about to jump. If you're one of the 3% who would sit there eating pop corn screaming "DO A FLIP!" then copy and paste this into your sig

body armour?
+1  Doesn't take much too save yourself a heap of pain!!  Sliding down a rock garden with body armour is almost fun vs breaking bones and tearing off bits of flesh.

I agree with your premise, but body armour isn't going to stop you from breaking bones or tearing ligaments.  It doesn't even stop bruising - the massive bruise on my elbow will prove that; I had elbow guards on.  Armour will help you keep your skin on, which is good, but it's not going to make you indestructable.

Relax :)  I wasn't getting personal.
I wasn't refering to you or anyones crash.   I was refering to wearing body armour vs wearing none :)  I find the spine protector comforting when you land on your back.

No worries, neither was I :).  I certainly feel pretty vulnerable on the bike if I don't have my knee guards on.  Just pointing out the armour isn't meant to stop you breaking bones.
