Hey guys,
im looking for an eastern pro cassette hub driver with 11 or 12t. This is beginning to get really tiresome looking for it but i will manage.
And no im not going back to Guilford cycles, the guy there was an absolute prick to me (young kid wasting his time blah blah blah)...

Im very very tempted to get one off a few websites but they are unknown to me. At the moment my local bike shop have sourced me a 9t one but im hoping to keep running the same gearing i have instead of buying new cranks/sprocket to run a minidrive setup.

The one i have now still works fine but the outside seal bearing has collapsed, causing the centre casing to float around, wearing out the last bearing very very quickly. I would rather not rebuild it in the condition it is at the moment.

Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: http://www.twenty-inch.com/product/HU5564/Eastern_11t_Driver_forPro_Cassette_Hub.html
above is a link to the photo and part number if im not mistaken (in the link, HU5564, simular to the HU5562 which is the 9t driver)

Has your LBS tried to source you a 11 or 12 locally? If they got you a 9 they should be able to get you others......but then again it IS dirtworks. I just did an order with them today, I can check in the morning if you like?

yeah mate i am going through armadale cycle world. They said they could only source the 9t for me, no others.

Cheers clippy if you could check that would be much appreciated! I want to ride again haha.

At the moment i have machined up a piece of nylon to replace the outside bearing which is working, but i have to pull it apart before i ride to spray it with silicone spray. Dedicated Cheesy haha

hmm well since i cant get the driver very easily, is there any other driver that would fit?

Could someone explain where the differences are in drivers and what will/wont work regarding drivers replacements?

Replacing it with something like an odyssey or profile type brand, for a 14mm axle, sealed bearings, 11 or 12t, 3 or 4 pawl.

Cheers to whoeva can help Cheesy

LOL finally after a 13 days eastern has sent a return email. The 11t drivers are not in production at the moment, but will be withing 2-3 months time. I will update the thread when i get the email telling me that they are again in production.
