If someone wants to give me a lift I'm sure that I could give them a place to stay, considering my parents live there.

Ok so me and Rexy had a good chat over a slushy about hiring a 12 seater bus and borrowing the peel trailer to take bikes down. Where thinking of going friday afternoon, get drunk somewhere. Ride some skatey and shiz sat, race sunday, get drunk and come home sometime after that.

Where going to get prices during the week for the hire of a bus from friday afternoon till probably monday.

If we can get a few people on the bus it will be cheap as chips, well cheaper then driving yourself down in your own car.

So far on the bus is

Rexy,
Tony,
I'm just going to call him Crappy Chooky from now on.

We looked at a C-class license, 4.5T and 12 passengers.

Looking at having less than 12, and those little buses do not weight 4.5t.

Only issue is that if no oldies come down (ie over 25's) we will have to sweet talk some parents into the actual hiring.

I'm assuming that it will cost roughly 300-400 for the bus, if we split that between 6 or 8 people it is nothing!

Camping/caravan parking could be a possibility also for accomodation? Could probably hook ourselves up with an unpowered site for next to nothing.

If you don't have that many people say between 4 and 5, would it be easier and cheaper to take someones car and the small trailer, then you could probably stay at someones house and not have to worry about paying for accommodation. just my opinion

We wouldn't be able to fit 5 peoples gear and bikes in a car Damo.

I was hoping that we could just park up outside your parents home and swag it on the lawn lol.

We could easily fit 5 people in a car like a station wagon(looks to Rexy) and if we have the small trailer then we could fit the bikes on aswell. Im just saying this cause it would greatly lower the cost of the trip, which would be a good thing since I'm really poor.  :)

I'm a poor student as well, so low budget is definately on my agenda!

Car and trailer is just not an option really.

Many of us will be taking both bikes.

So say if we end up with a total of 6 people. Thats 10 or 12 bikes. 6 gearbags. Just wouldn't happen.

Split between a few though a bus would actually work out rather cheap.

Accomodation either camp (which is freeeee) or find a site for <$30 (Mike and I got a site at Nannup for $10 each for example), which when split between all of us is just pocket change.

You guy's could always take the small Peel club trailor I'm sure.

That holds like 16 bikes I think + you can jam it with gear bags and esky's.
