Mountain Cycle: It's basically a bomb shelter with wheels, nothing short of a Chuck Norris round house kick can stop it.                                                     Or move it...

They run trips out on the dunes in Lancelin. It broke down a few months ago. Bit embarrassing for them I'd think. It was at the sky show a few years back driving around Macalum Park. Tearing up the grass. :D

Can you get a towball on the back of the trailer and hook the old club trailer up - roadtrain stylez

LOL! That would be awesome.

Only gripe is that the rear bar points forward which limits how many bikes we can fit. However 5 bikes and 6 people plus a toolbox is a decent load. Does get a bit uncomfortable when Danielle drops the clutch though. :-\

Shuttle racks
« Reply #81 on: August 04, 2009, 07:21:53 PM »
Just picked up my first motor vehicle. 1993 2wd Ford Courier dual cab 5spd 2.2 diesel.

Anyway so i need to sort out a shuttle rack. Going similar to Dissa's rack, up and down the car, holding front and rear wheels. Problem is my car is a 6 seater, and I'd like to fit 6 bikes on. I could fit 5 bikes easily with no shifters clashing, or squeeze 6 bikes on. Any suggestions? The tray is 1.7m long and 1.8m wide. Oh and notice my first modification?

You've wrecked the car by putting on a mc sticker. I would keep it the same as dissa because it works quickly and efficiently. Make sure that you put the rack above the drop sides though and make it removable. This means that you can either store gear under the bikes or remove the whole application for any other type of load. Also you only want to fit 5 bikes on because the 6th person is the driver. A small roofrack wouldn't hurt either. Otherwise nice first car

slam a turbo in that sucker!
i like, although not having a weld body will mean you will have to build your rack from the tray up.
I'd agree with making it removable!
at first i was scared as hell, then i hardened up, let off the brakes, and booooo000oooned down the hill weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

today at the wsmtb race i used something like this.

wasnt too bad, took a little bit of getting used to and wasnt very fast. still, a lot better than walking - and always running so you go back up whenever you want.
